the debut release on mule musiq by italian dj&producer toto chiavetta. i have keep on checking his releases since his release “become one” on osunlade’s yoruba records, it’s still my fav track to play. toto has been releasing eclectic house music from mighty innervisions and yoruba records in the last few years. magnus ep start from floor killer tropical tech house track “higher than a bird”,it will be instant summer anthem. on b side,“magnus”&”first day without her” is more dark techno for big room but we still can hear some musical elements.

the first collaboration of kuniyuki and japanese legendary jazz pianist fumio itabashi, it’s originally released in 2009,recorded for kuniyuki’s third album “walking in the naked city”. kuniyuki and itabashi invited henrik schwarz as vocalist,maybe you remember henrik&kuniyuki’s house version. itabashi said river is one of the best song which i have produced.

more talking all that jazz, more high aiming music by fumio itabashi: mule musiq is ready to release another record by the legendary japanese jazz pianist, born in ashikaga, tochigi in the year 1949. this time his first solo record ever: the heavy jazzing “nature”, which has never been reissued on vinyl since its birth in 1979. it has been recorded at nippon columbia 1st studio, tokyo from march 13 to 15 in the year of its release.

raw, soulful and agitating: glenn astro, the humble house sorcerer from berlin, produced four tunes and a sweet interlude for mule musiq that point out: house music is still heading for the future.

children are laughing and playing in the back, a baby screams happily: handsome field recordings welcome the listener to the final chapter of fred p’s fp-oner trilogy for mule musiq. the opening tune is called smiles, so children s laughter fit the mode. the idea is that smiles and cries are natural for children and as they grow to adulthood the reality becomes more, therefore the duality of life itself is obvious in the mood of the song. the new york city native that is working on his very own music for almost 20 years explains about the beginning of his new album that features eleven tunes for deep meditative club use and beyond. it brings the listener house music full of cosmic realities, odd jazzing moments, japanese spoken word pop, synth spheres for ambient use and an overall outer-national atmosphere, that handsomely dances between roughness and subtle tuned in deepness.

it was in february 2015 when japanese producer and sound designer kuniyuki takahashi, sometimes known as koss, releases with the ep ônewwave project æ2ö a record, that tapped some roots of his mu-sical education: new wave, german electro punk from bands like a daf, ebm from acts like front 242 as well as industrial music.

framed by two spoken word samples and wrapped in house and techno emotions, that know about electro and 90’s electronica too: the new, second album of the leipzig and berlin based producer and live artist martin enke aka lake people moves in a fresh way. this time he shifts towards a focus on the essentials of electronic club music: sounds and groove, rough and playful interweaved with the aesthetic particles of techno. with his “point ep”, released on the berlin based imprint krakatau records in late 2012, his creative life as a producer for melancholic driven club tunes took off. several top notch djs played the tune “point in time”, lake people started to tour world-wide with his mesmerizing live set and produced countless remixes for colleagues from all around the globe. in 2015 he finally released his first album “purposely uncertain field” on the munich based label permanent vacation and delivered eleven tracks at the interface of techno, ambient, experimental and electronic, that bewitch with hymnal chords, yearningly melodies, detailed production, elaborate sound design and an overall introspective, emotive feeling. now, just shortly after he published a fresh ep on the dresden based imprint uncanny valley, lake people drops “phase transition”, a new album consisting of ten haunting tracks full of dance suspense. he recorded all between 2016 and early 2017 on various vintage analog synthesizers, uad and other creative interfaces. to find out if his latest pure slamming tracks work deep, he tried them out during his live shows in order to catch some new ideas directly from the dance floor.

germany-via- artist osker offermann, the owner of leading label white presents us a quality dou-bled package on the mule, strongly effecting his meditated mindsets. as well as his dj sets, his crafted productions have a superb balance between being not too exces-sive, but not being too minimalistic - creating the dynamism which make people move, based on his own aesthetic featured with well-polished, functional electro phrases and raw machine beats. because of its floating grooves, will be nice for club use, but also surely will be a good accompany for the home-listening. oskar continually points forward us the fact, that listening to deep house is no longer meandering journey, but something meaningful and fruitful in your life.

after an excellent new album “yoyogi park”, our favorite german producers made great remix package. one of the most respectable label giegling artist kettenkraussell made two version. one is dark deep house and one more is electronica style which reminds us jan janelik. our hero roman flugel remix is more uplifting and trippy, this is simply nice for the club. lake people remix is old school electro style but sounds very modern and playful. enjoy!

stuttgart based new producer leif muellers debut release on mule musiq. his best friend konstantin sibold brought these fantastic music to us. fantastique on a side is chicago house oriented modern german house, holidays everywhere on b1 is hypnotic tech house which reminds us the production of roman flügel. leguan on b2 is excellent collaboration with konstantin sibold.
